Import substitution
Local refining reduces Ghana's reliance on imported cooking oil and helps stabilise consumer prices during foreign-exchange and shipping shocks.
Food security
A 100 TPD planned refinery materially adds to Ghana's domestic edible-oil capacity, with longer-term ECOWAS / AfCFTA upside.
Smallholder income
Guaranteed offtake at fair farmgate prices for the 20,000-plus smallholder farmer network feeding the refinery.
Lower-carbon production
The planned 1 MW on-site solar system is designed to reduce projected emissions per litre refined. Carbon performance will be reported only after verified measurement.
